Betty White is changing her name to “Betty Purple” in recognition of GLAAD’s annual anti-bullying campaign Spirit Day on October 17.

Spirit Day is GLAAD’s chosen day of solidarity for millions all over the world to symbolically vocalise their opposition towards bullying and their support for LGBT youth by wearing purple.
