Chris Brown has tested positive for drugs while on probation for a 2009 felony conviction for assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna. He failed a random drug test while doing community service in Virginia.

He told a judge in a LA this week that he had smoked marijuana in California, and had a medical marijuana card from the state issued by an acupuncturist.

The judge set a probation violation hearing date in November, at which time the singer’s probation could be revoked.

Russell Crowe was kayaking in waters off New York’s Long Island along with a friend when they became stranded on Saturday, according to reports.

US coast guard petty officer Robert Swieciki said the pair got lost as the evening became darker and beached their kayaks in Huntington Bay, nearly 10 miles east from where they first set out.

Swieciki said: “He just needed a little bit of help, he just got a little lost. It wasn’t really a rescue, really, more of just giving someone a lift.”

Lindsay Lohan has been cleared of any involvement in an alleged $100,000 jewellery theft from a Hollywood Hills home.

Police said last night they had “insufficient evidence” to pursue a case following claims the items were stolen at a recent all-night party the actress attended.

LiLo was said to have been accused of stealing jewels, sunglasses and watches.

2. Seal And Heidi Klum Are Fighting

Radar reports that the couple are fighting over Seal’s decision to use personal photos of their children (Leni, 8; Henry, 6; Johan, 5; and Lou, 2) in advertisements for a digital camera without Klum’s permission.

Klum hired a lawyer to demand the camera company remove the video featuring images of the kids from its website. It has since been made private.

According to an anonymous “insider” quoted by Radar, Seal argued that it was up to him to use his personal photos as he wished.

NASA have announced news that Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am will premiere his new track ‘Reach for the Stars’ on Mars through the speakers of the Curiosity Rover, which landed on the planet earlier this month on a fact-finding mission.

4. Sheryl Crow has obtained a temporary restraining order.

The order is against a 45-year-old man, who, she claims, was ranting about her on Facebook and told an employee at the Screen Actors Guild in Los Angeles that he was going to shoot her.

According to Crow, it appeared that Phillip Gordon Sparks “was deeply disturbed because his posts were delusional, rambling, filled with profanity and laced with angry rants.”

A hearing is set for Aug. 14 on whether to make the order permanent.

5. Cuba Gooding Jr is wanted by the police

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Cuba Gooding Jr. after an altercation at a New Orleans bar in the early hours of this morning, according to TMZ.

The Jerry Maguire actor is allegedly accused of shoving a female bartender at the Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street around 2am.

Police are now under orders to arrest Cuba on sight.

Lindsay Lohan has been involved in a second car crash just six weeks after an earlier collision with an 18-wheeler truck.

5. Russell Brand is to be charged in phone throwing case

Russell Brand will be charged with a crime for throwing a paparazzi’s iPhone through a glass window in New Orleans back in March.

Law enforcement sources have told TMZ that the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s office has finally decided to go forward and prosecute the actor.

They will file one charge of misdemeanor criminal damage to property against Brand sometime today.

4. Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Michael Is Going To Be A Dad Again

Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan and his girlfriend Kate Major are expecting a child together.
