The Beach Boys took over Late Night on Monday.
Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks, and Bruce Johnston joined Jimmy Fallon for a bunch of performances and an interview.
For the special night that was in it, Jimmy wasted no time getting down to business, introducing the California legends immediately, following which they went into a performance of Brian Wilson’s classic track ‘In My Room’.
Later on, Mike and Brian chatted with Fallon, discussing the band’s legacy, harmonies, Elvis Presley, and their forthcoming reunion album, ‘That’s Why God Made the Radio’.
To round off the night, the band hit the stage once again for a performance of the new album’s title track and their legendary Pet Sounds album’s opening track ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’.
The Beach Boys recently launched a reunion tour in celebration of their 50th anniversary, and will release a new studio album titled ‘That’s Why God Made the Radio’ on June 5.
