Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber 'engagement' ringRumours have fuelled that Justin Bieber has proposed to his girlfriend Selena Gomez, after apparently giving her a diamond ring as an early Valentines Day gift over the weekend.

On Sunday, Selena posted a picture of herself wearing the ring, which features the initial J, on Instagram, as she holds someones hand, thought to be Justin’s.

Along with the picture, Gomez wrote “I’m finally home”, marking the end of her world tour which started last July.

While there have been rumours for some time that the couple would get engaged when Bieber turned 18, this sparkler is unlikely to be the Bieber’s choice for an engagement ring.

It is more likely to be a promise ring, as there is a tradition for teenagers to don each other’s initials as a precursor to an engagement ring.
