Killing Them Softly
Director and star of The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford re-team for this spectacular hitman movie.
Brad Pitt stars as Jackie Cogan, a hitman with a moral code. rukkle Movies caught this one at Cannes. It’s as good as it looks.
The Paperboy
Cinema doesn’t get much trashier than this. Steamy, sweaty, stylish and obscenely melodramatic, this second film from Precious director, Lee Daniels could not be further from his first film.
Starring a superbly intense Matthew McConaughey, a deliciously white trash Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron in this tightey whiteys, this is pure southern gothic fun.
Paranormal Activity 4
They just keep em coming. Every Halloween. They’re always better than the Saw movies though, so I’m happy enough. It was only a matter of time before Skype was incorporated into the found footage genre.
Chasing Mavericks
Surfing is awesome, and from the look of this the filmmakers are up for proving that! Gerard Butler stars as an ageing surfer chasing the greatest wave in the world.
Samsara
“The ever-turning wheel of life” is the translation of the title and apart from that theme there’s little by way of narrative structure to this film. But by golly, does it look stunning!

This is a strange one… a movie for Facebook, produced by Intel and Toshiba starring Topher Grace, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and you (!?).

The biggest cast in Hollywood assemble for this frothy wedding caper. Diane Keaton, Robert De Niro, Susan Sarandon, Topher Grace, Katherine Heigl and Amanda Seyfried star as a family pretending to be Catholic to appease the biological mother of the groom…or something like that.
