It’s been a slow trailer week this week, probably due to Bat-fever. But Paul Thomas Anderson saves the day with a wonderful full-trailer for his new film The Master.
While we wait for the much-anticipated Man of Steel trailer to make the transition from big-screen to the web, we’ve scoured the internet for the best new clips and trailers to keep you satisfied.
The Master
Paul Thomas Anderson’s last film There Will Be Blood was a masterclass in both style and substance so it is with great delight and excitement that we present to you the brilliant new trailer for his forthcoming alleged riff on Scientology, The Master. We’re trying to be cool, but it’s very difficult. This looks great.
The Canyons
A trailer has surfaced for the mainly crowd-funded collaboration between American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis and legendary writer-director Paul Schrader. Little is known about the film except that it will be set amongst the dead-eyed elite of L.A. (there’s a surprise!) and it will star Lindsay Lohan and porn star Jimmy Deen. Neither actor features in the trailer and it looks more like something put together by the L.A. Tourist Board but it is certainly pretty to look at.

The Dark Knight Trilogy Trailer
OK, so the final film has hardly even hit the big screen and there’s already a mega-trailer for the trilogy DVD/Blu-Ray set. Something tells us a lot of people will be having a Very Batty Christmas this year! What’s not to like?

Kate Beckinsale is cold as ice here in this sharp-looking sci-fi remake. Fingers crossed this will be as classy as it looks.
