Dark Shadows

Tim Burton teams up yet again with his boyfriend – ahem, leading man, Johnny Depp for this stylish vampire movie.

Wait a moment, did that witch just rape the vampire?? Dark, Tim Burton, even for you!

On the Road

Hipsters everywhere rejoice! Your favourite book is now a film. And, fortunately, it looks pretty good.

We know Walter Salles knows how to make a damn fine road movie from his previous effort The Motorcycle Diaries and this one looks like it could be a winner too.

Nice to see Kristen Stewart spreading her acting wings a little bit here.

That’s My Boy

It looks like Adam Sandler didn’t learn any lessons from the universally reviled Jack and Jill.

This time he plays the worst Dad of all time to SNL’s Andy Samberg, when he tries to reconnect with him in order to get out of some financial woes. Oh, and of course it’s his son’s wedding week.

Some awesomely crude humour here isn’t likely to save this from the venom of audiences and critics alike who are anxiously awaiting something a little classier from Sandler.

Dick jokes and bachelor party antics aplenty here, but not much else. Come on Sandler! It’s getting difficult to defend our love for you!!

Battleship

A brand new trailer for Battleship has surfaced and boy does it wear its guns on its sleeve!

If you want action, attractive people and more action then this film is for you! Director Peter Berg channels Michael Bay here to tremendous effect.

Think Transformers without the Transformers! If that appeals to you, this should be a winner.

Chernobyl Diaries

Is it just me or is this horror film where the victims of the Chernobyl disaster are man-hunting mutants seem in poor taste?

Avengers Japanese Trailer

Why did Japan get way cooler Avengers footage than we did?

This stylish and action-packed trailer has set the internet into a tizzy this week, and it’s clear to see why. As if Avengers needed any more hype!
