Billy Crystal has announced that he will host the 2012 Academy Awards.
He confirmed the news on Twitter saying he was “looking forward to the show”.
Billy Crystal will present the 2012 Academy Awards after the departure of Eddie Murphy earlier this week.
The 63-year-old actor has previously hosted the Oscars nine times, most recently in 2004.
