Susan Sarandon supports gay marriage

Susan Sarandon supports gay marriage with new video for Human Rights Campaign.

She says in video that she wishes to live in a country that supports diversity.

Actress Susan Sarandon has come out in support of gay marriage with a new video for Human Rights Campaign (HRC).

Sarandon was previously in a relationship for over 20 years with Tim Robbins and chose not to get married. However, she believes it’s a right for everyone.

“While marriage might not be my thing, if it’s your thing you damned well ought to be able to have it – equally and unequivocally.”

She adds that she wishes to live in a country that supports diversity,

“The America I want to live in celebrates diversity and believes in equal rights for all families no matter what they look like.”
