Sara Gilbert Tells Emotional Story About Coming Out On ‘The Talk’
Sara Gilbert has credited her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki with helping her come out as gay.
Gilbert gave an emotional speech about her sexuality, and the process of coming out, during an episode of ‘The Talk’ this week.

“I want to live a true life and then beyond that… we do often say things like ‘it gets better’—and it does get better and I have an amazing life… but there can still be a struggle with it, and that’s ok.
There can be a part of you that doesn’t want to feel different or feel scared. And that is more important than any of it.”
Before giving the speech she called Johnny and told him she was planning on telling the story. He gave his full support, saying he’s proud of her and offered to appear on the show to hold her hand if she needed…
