Macklemore Grammy Song Of The Year

Macklemore & Ryan are celebrating ahead of a huge night at the 2014 Grammy Award Nominations concert event.

The duo has received seven nominations including best album, best new artist and Grammy song of the year for ‘Same Love’.

Same Love features Lewis’ elegant beats, Macklemore’s personal rhymes, and an addictive hook by Mary Lambert.  The song was written in support for gay marriage rights.

The song has reached no. 11 on Billboard’s top 100, its video has received millions of views, and surprisingly, they’ve received no hate mail from its success.

Singer Mary Lambert jokingly said “I didn’t get any hate mail or shot or anything. We got nominated for a Grammy!”
