Game of Thrones Actor Kristian Nairn has come out as gay.

Nairn has played Hodor the protector of the young prince Bran Stark since 2011.

In an interview discussing gaming, being a DJ, and acting, Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn revealed that he was gay. Nairn stated that he’s never kept his sexuality as a secret,

“I’ve never hidden my sexuality from anyone, my whole life in fact, and I’ve been waiting for someone to ask about it in an interview, [because] it’s not something you just blurt out. I’ve tried to lead the questions a few times, to no avail!”

Nairn plays Hodor, the protector of the young prince, Bran Stark, in a recurring role on Game of Thrones since 2011. He says that the cast is very supportive of his sexuality,

So, yeah, people have been great, on the show, but I don’t see why it would be an issue.
