Gay web series, Tough Love, has launched a Kickstarter to make more episodes.

The hilarious gay web series focuses on young, broke, and gay characters living in NYC.

Hilarious gay web series, Tough Love, is raising funds via Kickstarter to make more episodes. If you’ve never watched, Tough Love follows characters that are young, broke, gay, and they live in New York City. It focuses on the friendship between a messy lesbian and her uptight gay best friend.

Stars Steven Bell and Blair Wendel explain their thoughts on gay media representation,

“Gay characters in mainstream television are usually portrayed as one dimensional stereotypes, a half-assed attempt by networks to incorporate diversity into their programming.”

Their response was to create Tough Love because,

“Gay people are as complex and varied as any other human beings, and we wanted to make a show to demonstrate that.”

The show has already shot 13 episodes and accumulated over 50,000 views. Help them to finish off their second season of gay web series, Tough Love, by donating to their Kickstarter fund today.
