Cucumber, Banana, Tofu - A First Look At The UK’s New Gay TV Series

Beginning early next year, Cucumber, Banana, Tofu are the names of the UK’s new gay-themed TV shows.

Written by the creator of Queer as Folk, the series comes in three interconnecting parts – two dramas and a documentary series.

As excitement builds for Russell T Davies’ new Channel 4 shows Cucumber, Banana, Tofu, the first official trailer for the shows has been released.

The series, which is Davies’ first work with Channel 4 since Queer as Folk ended in 2000, examines “the passions and pitfalls of 21st century gay life”.

The new trailer offers the first glimpse at the older and younger characters in the trio of interconnecting shows, which focus on the gay community.
