Out gay actors Andrew Scott and Ben Whishaw have been confirmed for the next Bond film, Spectre.

The next instalment in 007 movie franchise will be directed by Sam Mendes and see Daniel Craig star as Bond for the fourth time.

Spectre will be the title of the 24th official James Bond film. Director Sam Mendes revealed the title at a launch event at the UK’s Pinewood Studios, where principal photography is due to begin on Monday.

Among the confirmed cast members are out gay actors Andrew Scott and Ben Whishaw. Sherlock star Scott will star as Denbigh and Whishaw will reprise his role as Q.

The rest of the new cast includes Léa Seydoux (Blue Is the Warmest Colour) as Madeleine Swann, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra and David Bautista as Mr Hinx. Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Rory Kinnear will reprise their roles from Skyfall.

During the official announcement, Mendes confirmed that the movie will shoot in London, Rome, Mexico City, Morocco and Austria. Mendes also revealed Bond’s sleek new Aston Martin, the DB10, created exclusively for Spectre.
