Kyle Humphrey and Graydon Sheppard have turned @shitgirlssay into a web series.
The first episode, based on the twitter account appeared online this week and there’s a ton of marvelously on-point ‘girlisms’ in the video!
Shit Girls Say is a parody Twitter account created by comedy writers Kyle Humphrey and Graydon Sheppard. The account pokes fun at stereotypically feminine ways of talking and this week, the guys launched the series on YouTube!
While the concept has been celebrated as either incredibly hilarious or deeply insulting (depending on who you’re talking to), one thing is for sure, it’s growing popularity suggests it’s hitting a nerve.
The account itself, @shitgirlssay, has seen amazing growth in followers in 2011. On December 13th, 2011 it had 72,000 followers, an increase of around 66,000 followers over the last five months.
