New video footage and pictures reveal extent of bar brawl.
The fight between Brown and Drake took place at NYC’s W.I.P. nightclub at around 4am on Thursday morning.
New video footage and pictures have emerged from the scene of the brawl between Drake and Chris Brown this week. The images which have been slowly emerging online since the incident took place at New York’s W.I.P nightclub on Wednesday night/Thursday morning show the seriousness of what went down.
In the video above, a man (who many are reporting to be Brown) can be seen in the upper right-hand corner of the screen escaping a headlock. A few moments later, another man wearing a blood-spattered singlet walks down the stairs. Later in the video, another man appears on screen and a punch is thrown.
After the incident, Brown tweeted a picture of a cut he received during the fight along with the comment “How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol… Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!.”
Reports are suggesting that Brown sent Drake’s table a bottle of champagne earlier in the night. Drake is then believed to have returned the bottle with a note attached which read, “I’m fucking the love of your life, deal with it”.
After this Drake then allegedly walked over to Brown’s table, punched him and a large club-wide bottle fight broke out. According to the NYPD, five people were injured in the brawl and no arrests were made (both stars had left the scene).
One of the injured people was an innocent bystander, a 24-year-old Australian tourist who TMZ are callling Hollie C. She says…
“Within a few moments of noticing glass being thrown around, I saw a glass bottle headed towards me; consequently hitting me in the head. I immediately started to bleed and proceeded to fall in and out of consciousness.”
Chris Brown’s bodyguard Big Pat was also hospitalised with a large wound on his head following the massive bottle-hurling brawl that took place.
The photo on the left appeared on Twitter on Thursday showing Big Pat on a hospital gurney, with blood pouring from the wound.
TMZ is reporting that he’s doing OK, and have published photos of him walking around with a patched up head outside Chris’ NYC hotel.
So, with all the rumour and speculation, what have Breezy and Drake got to say for themselves? Brown’s spokesman, Jeff Raymond, said in a statement…
“Chris, Karrueche and his friends were victims of a brutal attack last night at WIP. They sustained several injuries. Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further”
Drake’s spokeswoman Allison Elbl Striegel has also issued a statement saying the singer…
“did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. He did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”
