The weekend is upon us once again!
Every weekend, we like to take a look back at some of the things we learned at rukkle HQ over the past seven days…
1. Johnny Depp Has Been Confirmed For Wes Anderson’s Next Film
Johnny Depp has been confirmed by Deadline to star in Wes Anderson’s next movie, which the filmmaker wrote and will direct and is being produced and financed by Indian Paintbrush.
Depp was first linked with the movie last week, along with a host of actors including Bill Murray and Owen Wilson. As of yet, no details regarding the film’s plot or Depp’s character have been revealed, but the project is said to be titled The Grand Budapest Hotel and will mark Texas-born Anderson’s first time shooting in Europe.
This news comes as Depp continues to work on The Lone Ranger for Disney. He stars in that Gore Verbinski-directed film alongside Armie Hammer. The first footage from that film was screened at Comic-Con last week.
2. Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Are Not Married
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are not walking down the aisle anytime soon.
The internet went batsh*t crazy on Saturday when reports surfaced that the Green Lantern costars had wed, after a police officer accidentally referred to Blake as Ryan’s “wife” in a police report he filed against a photographer.
A source close to the couple has told Celebuzz that is “absolutely not true.”

4. Joseph Gordon-Levitt Thought Girls Were “Evil” in High School
In the August issue of GQ, the 31-year-old Dark Knight Rises actor reveals he never attended his high school prom, explaining…
“I was a sort of serious little dude — snobby. I thought girls my age were very frustrating, They were, like, looking in their compact mirrors and sh-t, and I thought that was evil.”
Reacting this week to the same article, which stated that his brother “died of an alleged drug overdose in 2010″, JGL took to his Tumblr to give his side of the story.
5. Bruce Springsteen Had To Wait Three Days To Finish ‘Twist And Shout’
Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney had their microphones cut off in London’s Hyde Park last Saturday night after Springsteen exceeded a noise curfew.
The musicians played renditions of the Beatles’ ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ and ‘Twist and Shout’, but got cut short by organisers for breaking the curfew.
It took until Tuesday, but Springsteen eventually got to finish his performance in Ireland…
