1. One Direction’s Liam Payne Is NOT Engaged
One Direction’s Liam Payne sent fans into a frenzy when he posted a photo on his Instagram that hinted he’d popped the question to girlfriend Danielle Peazer.
The picture showed the couple hand-in-hand with the caption, “i’m her’s and she’s mine forever. {big news coming up} .”
According to E! News, a rep for the British boy band calls rumors of 18-year-old Payne being engaged to Peazer “completely untrue”.
2. Chris Brown Has Been Ordered To Appear In Court In Battery Case
During a routine progress report hearing on Tuesday for Chris Brown’s felony battery conviction for assaulting then-girlfriend, Rihanna, the R&B singer was ordered to appear in person next month.
During the hearing, which Chris wasn’t required to attend, Judge Patricia Schnegg expressed concerns about the hours completed on his community service.
The judge wants an audit done on Chris’ hours and has ordered him to appear in person at his next progress report on August 21.

4. Sienna Miller Has Named Her Daughter Marlowe
Sienna Miller welcomed a daughter with boyfriend (and rumored fiancé) Tom Sturridge over the weekend in London.
Miller’s sister Savannah tweeted “Marlowe I love you,” on Tuesday, reportedly revealing the name of the new baby.
The couple remained mostly quiet throughout the pregnancy, except for a brief comment to Vogue in April where Miller said “I’m feeling fine, It’s all progressing nicely, and it’s very exciting.”
5. Sofia Vergara And Nick Loeb Are Engaged!
Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb are reportedly planning to tie the knot, though no date for a ceremony has been set, reports Us Weekly.
Vergara seemingly confirmed the report when she was pictured on friend Fernando Fiore’s Twitter account wearing a diamond ring on her finger.
The wedding to Loeb will be Vergara’s second. She was previously married as a teenager to Joe Gonzalez, with whom she has a 20-year-old son named Manolo.
